Job summary

UPMC Hillman Cancer Center in Johnstown, PA seeks a Clinical Medical Physicist to join the Medical Physics Division. The role focuses on quality assurance, dosimetry calibration, and delivery techniques across SBRT, VMAT, IMRT, IGRT with CBCT/OBI, 4D CT, and organ motion management, supporting patient care across two sites.

You will work between Johnstown and Indiana, PA, collaborate with a team of 40+ physicists, and contribute to research and clinical practice in a premier cancer center

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Physics or Medical Physics.
• ABR/ABMP Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics or Therapeutic Radiology.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in SBRT/VMAT/IMRT/IGRT with CBCT/OBI, 4D CT and organ motion management.
• Board eligibility acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA testing and dosimetry calibration for radiation therapy equipment.
• Implement advanced radiation therapy techniques including SBRT, VMAT, IMRT, and IGRT.
• Collaborate with a second physicist to support two sites (Johnstown and Indiana).
