Job summary

Astera Cancer Care/Princeton Radiation Oncology seeks a Clinical Medical Physicist for St Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. Responsibilities include daily clinical services, QA, external beam planning, and HDR/SRS procedures.

The successful candidate will participate in acceptance testing and may cover other centers within the network. Requires MS or PhD in medical physics or related field, ABR/ABMP certification or eligibility, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; HDR experience

Qualifications

MS or PhD in physics, radiological physics, medical physics or related field required.
ABR, ABMP certification or board eligible.
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience.
Experience with HDR and stereotactic radiosurgery preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide daily clinical medical physics services.
Perform quality assurance and treatment planning for external beam therapies.
Conduct HDR brachytherapy and stereotactic treatments as part of patient care.
Participate in acceptance testing and commissioning of new equipment and programs.
Cover coverage at other Astera Cancer Care centers as needed.
