HCT Staffing is assisting a client in hiring a Medical Physicist primarily located at the Oncology Paris Cancer Center, a community-based cancer center treating about 40 patients daily. The center runs active PSI and HDR programs across a small radiotherapy team and periodically travels to pod centers for coverage.

Travel to nearby POD centers in Mt Pleasant and Greenville, TX is required. The ideal candidate holds a CAMPEP residency, Texas Medical Board license, and ABR certification or

Formación

• CAMPEP accredited residency in medical physics.
• Texas Medical Board license required.
• ABR certification or board eligible.
• At least two years of certified medical physicist experience; SRS/SBRT/HDR experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Periodic evaluation of equipment for life span and replacement needs.
• Design and implement quality management programs for radiotherapy equipment.
• Assist in management of radiation oncology information systems and data storage.
• Radiation safety duties including monitoring, reporting and regulatory tasks.
• Lead or participate in clinical projects to improve department processes and patient treatments.
