Astera Cancer Care/Princeton Radiation Oncology in Langhorne, PA, seeks a Medical Physicist to provide daily clinical services, QA, treatment planning and HDR brachytherapy. The role includes coverage at St Mary Medical Center and other centers in the region.

Requirements include MS/PhD in physics, ABR/ABMP certification or eligibility, and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; HDR and Radiosurgery experience is preferred. Excellent benefits for full-time staff are offered.

Qualifications

• MS or Ph.D. in physics or a related field is required.
• ABR or ABMP certification or board-eligibility.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Experience with HDR and Radiosurgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily clinical services in a radiation oncology setting.
• Perform quality assurance and external beam treatment planning.
• Contribute to HDR brachytherapy and stereotactic treatments.
• Assist in acceptance testing and commissioning of equipment and programs.
