Responsibilities

• Manage clinic patient flow and inform physicians of arrivals and room assignments.
• Accompany and assist patients in the exam room in a professional manner.
• Obtain patient vital signs and document in the electronic medical record.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• May take patient medical history and perform various testing and screening procedures.
• Explain test procedures to patients and assist with dosage calculations as needed.
• Administer medications after demonstrated competency to the clinic RN.

Education

High school diploma and graduation from a Medical Assistant school

Current CPR/AED
