Job summary

Freeman Recovery Center is seeking a compassionate clinical assistant to support medical and nursing staff in delivering excellent patient experiences. You will perform point of care testing, document vital signs, and maintain EMR records to ensure accurate, up-to-date patient information.

The role involves assisting with specimen collection, monitoring supplies, and supporting clinical workflows while adhering to Freeman Recovery Center policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• CPR, First Aid/AED certification is required ( Freeman provides if needed).

Responsibilities

• Assist medical providers and nursing staff daily.
• Perform point of care testing.
• Record vital signs and assessment flow sheets.
• Maintain detailed records in EMR systems.
• Assist with collecting and processing specimens for routine checks and diagnostic testing.
• Monitor supplies and submit orders in a timely manner.
• Monitor patients for adherence to policies, procedures, and clinical needs.
• Assist with observing medications as needed.
