Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support physicians and clinical staff in a busy patient-care environment. You will assist with examinations, obtain vital signs, and administer injections while maintaining efficient patient flow.

You will respond to patient calls, route prescription requests under physician or RN direction, and help manage physician schedules. Candidates should have CMA credential and oncology-care experience, with a commitment to compliant patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience.
• Current CPR or BLS certification.
• Experience taking and documenting patient vital signs.
• Ability to assist physicians with examinations and clinical procedures.
• Ability to administer injections.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential required.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Previous oncology or cancer-care experience preferred.
• Experience communicating prescription requests under physician or RN direction.
• Experience managing physician schedules and completing clinical administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support physicians and clinical staff during examinations and procedures.
• Obtain and document patient vital signs and administer injections as directed.
• Assist with patient flow and basic administrative responsibilities.
• Respond to patient calls and route prescription requests when appropriate.
• Maintain physician schedules and support scheduling logistics.
• Ensure compliant and ethical patient-care activities.
