Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health’s Heater Road Primary Care Clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant or Licensed Nursing Assistant to support patient visits, obtain vital signs, perform point‑of‑care tests, vaccines, and assist with procedures in a fast‑paced outpatient setting.

You will join a multidisciplinary team of physicians, APPs, nurses, MAs, LNAs, and other staff, with opportunities to develop leadership skills and contribute to safe, high‑quality patient care.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Experience in office or outpatient ambulatory care preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well as a member of a team.
• Willing to participate in evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and check in patients; prepare patient, room and equipment for procedures.
• Take and record vital signs; inform provider of concerns.
• Assist with examinations and treatments; recognize emergencies as priority.
• Schedule appointments and procedures; coordinate with nursing staff.
• Register new patients and establish medical records.
• Assist with patient billing and insurance forms.
• Instruct patients on preparation for procedures.
• Collect and process routine laboratory specimens.
• Operate and maintain clinical equipment; aseptic technique.
• Perform other duties as required.
