Job summary

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for our outpatient care site in Nashua, NH. The ideal candidate will take vital signs, perform injections, collect specimens, and assist with patient exams under supervision.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, preparing rooms and equipment, maintaining records, and supporting insurance and billing processes. Evening/weekend coverage may be required, and BLS certification is required or in process.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to participate in evening, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients; prepare patient, room, and equipment for procedures.
• Take and record vital signs; communicate findings to provider.
• Assist with exams and treatments; handle phone calls and scheduling.
• Register patients and establish medical records; assist with billing and forms.
• Instruct patients for procedures; collect and process laboratory specimens.
• Maintain aseptic technique and sterilize equipment; manage supplies.
