Job Summary

Under the supervision of a licensed care provider and/or management, the Clinical Medical Assistant I (CMA I)/Patient Access Representative II (PAR II) is responsible for functioning as both a CMA I and a PAR II. The role involves providing and documenting clinical care according to protocols, supporting physicians, nurses, and families, and managing medical business information such as registration, scheduling, and authorizations. The position collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. Administrative duties are also part of the role.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • At least 1 year of experience as a PAR, or a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field with no prior experience, or graduation from a technical training school in a related field with no prior experience
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program/certificate
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
  • Advanced knowledge of medical terminology
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish

The salary range for this position is $23.10 to $31.77 per hour.
