Parkland Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to be an integral member of the medical home team, assisting physicians and nurses with admin and clinical duties. The role includes obtaining vital signs, screenings, and coordinating labs and referrals to ensure safe transitions of care.

Location is ARC Wynnewood/Oakwest Clinic with full-time day shifts; BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire, and prior experience is not required.

Formación

• Completed accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 90 days of hire (or equivalent).
• Experience not required as per listing.

Responsabilidades

• Review daily appointment schedule and plan patient care activities.
• Obtain and forward medical/immunization records; manage referrals, lab letters, and prior authorizations.
• Prepare and assess patients for visits; maintain infection control standards in exam rooms.
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training per department requirements.
