Job summary

IME RESOURCES LLC is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide administrative, clinical, and operational support in a fast-paced clinic setting in the Atlanta/Peachtree Corners area. You will assist with C&P examinations, claimant intake, diagnostic testing, medical records, and daily clinic workflows.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or MA training/certification, strong communication, organization, and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or relevant certification preferred.
• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or within healthcare preferred.
• Experience performing clinical procedures and diagnostic testing (phlebotomy, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) preferred.
• Experience in Compensation & Pension (C&P) exam environments or ambulatory clinics preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with claimants, providers, and staff.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong computer proficiency including MS Office and scheduling/documentation systems.
• Ability to work independently while communicating with leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Interview claimants to obtain medical histories and document information.
• Prepare clinical charts and conduct IMO research prior to appointments.
• Escort claimants through examinations with professional support.
• Obtain and document vital signs using appropriate equipment.
• Conduct diagnostic procedures (EKG, PFT, ABI, vision/screenings) as directed.
• Perform phlebotomy and blood draws when required.
• Support intake, check-in/check-out, and scheduling workflows.
• Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and equipment.
• Ensure infection control and privacy compliance in daily operations.
• Coordinate with supervisors to support provider schedules and claimant flow.
