Job summary

Pandya Medical Center seeks an experienced Medical Assistant to support Providers in delivering high-quality patient care. The role involves clinical procedures, patient intake, vital signs documentation, and maintaining a clean, organized clinical environment.

Ideal candidates have an accredited MA program, CMA/RMA certification as required by Georgia regulations, BLS certification, and at least two years of MA experience in a medical practice.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program (preferred).
• Current CMA/RMA certification as required by state regulations.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of two years of clinical MA experience in a medical practice.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures under supervision of the Provider.
• Assist Providers during patient examinations and procedures.
• Escort patients to exam rooms, take intake interviews, and document vital signs in the medical record.
• Provide patient education and instructions as directed by the Provider.
• Review and file reports, lab results, and documentation in the patient record prior to appointments.
• Maintain exam rooms: stock supplies, prepare instruments, ensure sterilization standards.
