Job summary

Northside Hospital Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide nursing assistance and patient care in a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. The role supports physicians and other clinicians in a busy medical office setting, ensuring comfort, safety and patient needs are met.

Requirements include at least 1 year of healthcare experience and American Heart Association BLS certification, plus color vision screening as applicable. This is a full-time, on-site position with typical daytime hours.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of healthcare experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
• Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing assistance and patient care to ensure comfort, safety and personal needs.
• Assists physicians, PAs and NPs in a medical office setting.
• Performs a variety of patient care duties within the multidisciplinary team as delegated by physicians and supervisors.
