Job summary

Freeman Health System in Rogers, AR is seeking a Medical Assistant to support physicians and nursing staff. The role includes taking vitals, preparing patients, documenting health histories, and assisting with exams while maintaining a clean, well stocked exam room.

You will manage patient flow, enter data in the electronic medical record, and help coordinate follow-up appointments and referrals. A current CMA/Registration and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 1 year clinic experience.
• Ability to multi task in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assists provider and/or nursing staff in patient care.
• Greet patients and prepare exam rooms; take vitals.
• Enter health history and chart in EMR.
• Assist with follow-up appointments and referrals.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and accurate records.
• Communicate data to the health team for continuity of care.
