Job summary

Freeman Health seeks a Materials Management leader to drive supply changes, manage inventory, and coordinate with clinical teams. The role chairs the SURP committee and focuses on system-wide logistics improvements within a hospital network.

The position requires clinical experience in acute care and prefers a nursing or clinical management background, with a focus on patient care efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care setting.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing or other clinical discipline and/or management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Solicits clinical supply bids and develops strategy for implementation of supply changes.
• Coordinates supply conversion and inventory management with Purchasing and Central Supply.
• Plans logistics and education for system-level changes and ensures effective communication.
• Reports to the Supply Chain Operations Manager and exercises creativity to achieve goals.
