Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides support and comfort to patients, family members and caregivers through therapeutic massage, relaxation and self-care techniques.
• Provides opportunities to teach about massage therapy and its therapeutic benefits, through hands‑on work and didactic education.
• Participates in documenting session data specific to the massage therapy provided.
• Assists with regular staff self‑care and chair massage sessions.
• Communicates with staff regarding referrals.
• Maintains current knowledge of field through continued education and self‑study.
• Performs other related duties
