Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Massage therapy training with at least 500 hours.
• Active Washington State Massage Therapist license.
• Board certification/examination completed.
• Ability to obtain tribal work permit and malpractice insurance if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Read and apply medical referrals to design treatment plans.
• Verify insurance coverage for massage therapy.
• Collaborate with referring providers to coordinate care.
• Evaluate patient history and contraindications before each session.
• Maintain accurate chart notes in Athena 1 for billing.
• Prepare rooms and maintain hygiene between sessions.
• Deliver compassionate patient care and manage session flow.
• Participate in training and governance meetings.
