Clinical Manager - Emergency Department - Northwoods

Work Shift: Days (United States of America), Fulltime, 8:00am-5:00pm

Job Summary

The Clinical Manager directs operations of the clinical area, including clinical outcomes, customer satisfaction, marketing, customer experience, and fiduciary responsibilities of one or more units. They are accountable for delivering high-quality services, ensuring optimal operational functions, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. The manager facilitates planning, organization, implementation, and resource management in coordination with physicians, clinicians, and support staff. Responsibilities include program and policy development, human resource management such as recruitment, retention, supervision, and promoting an optimal working environment. The manager ensures high-quality care and oversees administrative management of the department on a 24-hour basis.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a Master's degree in nursing or a related field (such as healthcare administration or business administration). If the Master's is in an unrelated field, a BSN is required. Teammates hired before March 12, 2023, without a Master's are grandfathered.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of recent clinical nursing experience; management or administrative experience preferred. Five years of supervision/leadership in home health is required.
  • Licensure/Certification: Current RN license in South Carolina or a multi-state license from a recognized NCSBN Compact State. BLS for Healthcare Providers required. Nursing specialty certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
Knowledge and Skills

Knowledgeable in management principles, nursing theory, organizational policies, safety protocols, and effective communication. Skilled in problem-solving, record-keeping, relationship-building, critical thinking, and emergency response.
