Qualifications and certifications: graduation from an accredited nursing program, with department-specific credentials such as ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate for chemotherapy administration, ACLS for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas, PALS for Pediatric areas (excluding NICU), and fetal monitoring certification for L&D nurses. Newly licensed RNs have six months to obtain required certifications.
