Job summary

Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center in Arlington, MA is seeking a Clinical Manager to oversee day-to-day OR operations, implement process initiatives to boost efficiency and patient experience, and collaborate with the ASC Administrator on policies and staff outcomes.

The role requires nursing leadership, budgeting know-how, and a track record in clinical supervision, with a focus on safety and quality in an ambulatory surgery setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing.
• BSN or higher degree required.
• Current RN license in the state.
• Minimum 2–3 years proven experience as a clinical manager or similar role.
• Experience in clinical supervision and program management.
• Strong budgeting, resourcing and performance evaluation knowledge.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Devise strategies and plans for the clinical department according to company standards.
• Oversee budgeting and resourcing.
• Plan and supervise patient care and administrative operations and programs.
• Recruit staff to ensure department is staffed with qualified personnel.
• Assign cases and create schedules for all employees.
• Coordinate and supervise staff with constructive feedback.
• Provide clinical training and opportunities for continuous development.
• Evaluate performance and discipline employees when necessary.
• Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, internal policies and quality standards.
