Job summary

SurgCenter of Silver Spring is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead nursing practice in a multi-disciplinary surgical setting, ensuring safe, efficient care and strong clinical outcomes. The Clinical Manager will oversee nursing direction and quality across the center.

Qualifications include Maryland RN licensure, BSN preferred, BLS/ACLS, and 3+ years OR/ICU experience with supervisory background. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Maryland RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Three years operating room/critical care experience preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience in outpatient surgery is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written English skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and controls the multi-disciplinary activities for patients undergoing surgical intervention in a safe environment.
• Interprets, directs, and evaluates nursing practice to promote safe and effective care throughout the Center.

Job Summary

Directs, coordinates, and controls the multi-disciplinary activities for patients undergoing surgical intervention in a safe environment. Responsible for the interpretation, direction, and evaluation of nursing practice to promote safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care throughout the Center. Demonstrates the primary goal of providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Pay Range- Min: $48.92 to Max: $55.87

(Wages are determined based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)

Required Skills:

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing, BSN preferred
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland
• Current certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Three years of operating room/critical care experience preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area is a plus.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others.
