SurgCenter of Silver Spring is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to lead the nursing and perioperative teams at our outpatient surgical center in Silver Spring, MD. You will direct multi-disciplinary care to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency across all surgical services.

The ideal candidate holds an MD license in Maryland, BSN preferred, with BLS/ACLS certifications and 3+ years operating room or critical care experience, plus supervisory experience in outpatient surgery.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current Maryland RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Three years OR/ICU experience preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience in outpatient surgery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and controls multi-disciplinary activities for surgical patients in a safe environment.
• Interprets, directs, and evaluates nursing practice to promote safe and effective care.

Job Summary

Directs, coordinates, and controls the multi-disciplinary activities for patients undergoing surgical intervention in a safe environment. Responsible for the interpretation, direction, and evaluation of nursing practice to promote safe, efficient, and therapeutically effective nursing care throughout the Center. Demonstrates the primary goal of providing surgical services that exceed customer expectations and improve clinical and financial operations.

Pay Range- Min: $48.92 to Max: $55.87

(Wages are determined based upon several factors, including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.)

Required Skills

• Graduate of a professional school of Nursing, BSN preferred
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland
• Current certification in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• Three years of operating room/critical care experience preferred.
• Two years of supervisory experience in the outpatient surgery area is a plus.
• Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients, and others.
