Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License (required, from Michigan).
• Active Controlled Substance License (required, from Michigan).
• Long-term care pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulations and compliance.
• Clinical knowledge with a focus on geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical pharmacy services tailored to long-term care residents.
• Perform medication reviews and therapeutic consultations.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee dispensing accuracy and provide clinical oversight.
• Utilize electronic health records for documentation and communication.
• Support and direct pharmacy technicians and staff as needed.
