Job summary

Johnson County Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Clinical Liaison to coordinate referrals and admissions. You will work with case coordinators, physicians, payors, and other sources to ensure proper patient placement through clinical screenings in collaboration with the Inpatient Rehabilitation Medical Director.

You will partner with the admissions team to maintain a responsive referral and admission flow, contributing to a total rewards package and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Current clinical license is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between internal and external referral sources and rehabilitation operations.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Clinical Liaison acts as a coordinator between internal and external referral sources, and the acute inpatient rehabilitation operations. The Clinical Liaison is responsible for establishing relationships with case coordinators, physicians, payors, and other referral sources. The Clinical Liaison will ensure appropriate patient placement through clinical screenings and assessments in collaboration with both hospital Case Coordination and the Inpatient Rehabilitation Medical Director. The Clinical Liaison works closely with hospital Case Coordinators and the acute inpatient rehabilitation admissions team to ensure a responsive and smooth flowing referral and admission process.

Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current Clinical License
• Valid Driver’s License
• Desired Qualifications:
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
