Schedule : Full-Time

Clinic Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Empathy MindCare is at the forefront of revolutionizing mental health treatment through innovative, interventional approaches and a team widely respected across the psychiatric community. Operating across multiple locations in California and Nevada, our mission is rooted in empathy—it’s not just a value, but the foundation of everything we do. By offering cutting-edge treatments such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Ketamine therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), we strive to make a lasting impact on the lives of the patients we serve.

In this unique role, you will serve as both a vital member of the care team and a key connection to the broader mental health community. Your work will be central to ensuring our patients feel supported and informed, from onboarding and treatment to ongoing education. At the same time, you’ll play a critical role in practice development—facilitating referrals, building relationships with the local mental health community, and raising awareness of our services through outreach and events.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and assist in delivering Ketamine-assisted therapy sessions, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and emotional support throughout the process.
  • Facilitate Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy sessions, monitoring patient responses and adjusting equipment settings to support treatment for conditions such as depression and anxiety.
  • Conduct comprehensive patient onboarding, including collecting medical histories, explaining treatment protocols, and setting expectations to ensure a seamless and informed experience.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient and provider inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Serve as a point of contact for patients and their families, offering education on treatment modalities, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns.

Community Engagement

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with various community organizations, mental health advocacy groups, healthcare providers, and other referral sources.
  • Organize and participate in community outreach events, workshops, and presentations to increase awareness of the clinic’s services and mental health treatment options.
  • Work closely with healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, therapists, and primary care physicians, to facilitate referrals to the clinic.
  • Identify and assist in resolving referral issues to ensure effective and timely communication with referring providers and the clinical team.
  • Travel up to 50% of the time. Zephyr Cove and Reno commute.

Practice Development

  • Identify growth opportunities by analyzing market data and monitoring industry trends.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and digital content to enhance the clinic’s visibility and reputation in the community.
  • Provide operational support for special projects as needed.
  • Provide feedback on efficiency and impact of clinic operations.
  • Collect and analyze data on patient outcomes, satisfaction, and community engagement efforts.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations for leadership decision-making.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, public health, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: 2+ years of relevant experience. Healthcare experience in community outreach, marketing, practice development, or patient care preferred. EMR, VOIP phone system, and Google Suite experience are highly valued.
  • Tactful and Analytical: Proven ability to assess situations, read and understand individual needs, analyze trends, and quickly problem-solve to develop effective and practical solutions.
  • Dynamic & Engaging: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with a natural ability to captivate, connect, and inspire others to collaborate and engage.
  • Self-Starter Mentality: Highly organized, independent, and proficient in prioritizing tasks and managing projects with minimal oversight.
  • Knowledgeable: Familiarity with mental health disorders and treatment modalities is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel and commute to Zephyr Cove & Reno clinics.

PAY AND BENEFITS:

  • Competitive compensation: $23/hr - $27/hr (depending on education and experience) PLUS BONUSES. Top performers can earn an additional $20,000+ per year based on patient growth targets!
  • PTO and Paid Sick Leave.
  • Mileage reimbursement for work-related travel.
  • Company-provided scrubs.
  • Opportunities for professional development and continuing education.
