Job summary

NIVA Health is seeking an experienced RN with wound care expertise to serve as Director of Nursing Services in Michigan. This in-person leadership role will oversee Providers, LPNs/LVNs, and Medical Assistants, driving clinical excellence, mentorship, and program development across Royal Oak, Ann Arbor, and East Lansing locations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in wound care with at least 2 years in a leadership role, plus active RN licensure.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• Wound care certification preferred or required within 45 days of hire.
• Minimum 4 years in wound care and 2 years in leadership or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on oversight and leadership to Providers, LPN/LVNs, and Medical Assistants, setting objectives and ensuring high standards.
• Mentor and develop: conduct training, skills assessments, and mentorship for continuous learning and growth.
• Refine clinical policies, procedures, and workflows; ensure licensure, certification, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze and improve quality and performance metrics to enhance patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with Executive Team and multidisciplinary colleagues to create education content and drive quality initiatives.
• Support new clinical programs and initiatives to keep NIVA Health at the forefront of wound care.
