Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license required.
• 1 year RN experience required; supervisory experience preferred.
• National certification as clinically appropriate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate unit activities to deliver quality care based on standards and evidence-based practice.
• Staffing and scheduling; daily communications and patient/bed control, expediting bed availability with House Manager and Bed Board Nurse Manager.
• Fulfill RN duties with appropriate patient assignments to assist team members.
• Develop staffing plans addressing patient acuity and unit needs; monitor workflow and productivity.
• Develop collaborative relationships with physicians to enhance quality practice and resolve issues quickly.
• Assist with implementation of unit plans and staff education; mentor and coach staff.
• Ensure compliance with standards, safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements (e.g., NP, Core Measures, Joint Commission).
• Participate in financial management within budget parameters and monitor resource utilization.
• Lead by example in professional growth and share knowledge gained from training with team.
