Job summary

Calqulate Metrics Ltd in Pittsburgh, PA, seeks an Assistant Chief Medical Officer to provide clinical leadership and administrative oversight within a Federally Qualified Health Center setting. The role combines patient care with strategic and operational leadership, partnering with the Chief Medical Officer to ensure compliant, high-quality operations.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license (or ability to obtain).
• DEA license and PA State Controlled Substance Registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care while maintaining an active clinical practice.
• Oversee medical providers to ensure quality, productivity, and compliance standards.
• Recruitment, onboarding, mentoring, and evaluation of physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accreditation standards (FQHC, HIPAA, OSHA).
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and program development.
• Improve access to care by optimizing provider templates and coverage planning.
• Develop strong working relationships with clinical staff, administration, and community partners.
• Represent the organization in professional, regulatory, and community settings.
• Develop clinical policies, workflows, and operational procedures.
