Job summary

Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Chief Medical Officer in Pittsburgh, PA to provide clinical leadership and administrative oversight within a Federally Qualified Health Center.

You will balance active patient care with strategic operations, reporting to the Chief Medical Officer and guiding high-quality, compliant clinical operations. This role offers a clear leadership growth pathway toward the Chief Medical Officer, contingent on performance and organizational growth, with

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or ability to obtain one.
• DEA license and PA State CS registration.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience; prior leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care while maintaining an active clinical practice.
• Oversee medical providers to ensure quality, productivity, and compliance standards.
• Recruit, onboard, mentor, and evaluate physicians and APPs.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor clinical performance metrics.
• Ensure compliance with FQHC, HIPAA, OSHA and other standards.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning.
• Optimize provider templates, productivity, and coverage planning.
• Develop relationships with staff, administration, and community partners.
• Represent the organization in professional and regulatory settings.
• Develop clinical policies, workflows, and procedures.
