Job summary

Thriving Center of Psychology, a leading private practice, seeks a Clinical Lead Therapist in New York. This role combines mentorship, leadership within a pod, and ongoing direct clinical work, fostering high-quality care and cohesive team dynamics.

You will partner with leadership to shape practice culture, support clinicians professionally, and continue to grow your own leadership skills while maintaining your caseload in a rapidly expanding organization.

Qualifications

• Active independent licensure in New York (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of post-licensure experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based care.
• Natural leadership and mentorship abilities; supervisory or lead clinician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active caseload while fulfilling pod leadership duties and modeling clinical standards.
• Serve as a first-line resource for clinicians within the pod.
• Foster a collaborative, psychologically safe team culture.
• Support clinicians with complex cases, escalations, and workflow challenges.
• Mentor and consult to reinforce evidence-based care and standards.
