Job summary

Healthcare IT Leaders, LLC is seeking a Clinical Lead Project Manager for a 6-month contract-to-hire engagement in Massachusetts. The role is remote hybrid with 25% travel, supporting Oracle Health PowerChart deployments for acute and ambulatory care settings.

You will oversee design, configuration, validation, and governance of clinical workflows, templates, and documentation across departments, ensuring regulatory compliance and successful go-live. Start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of clinical operations or clinical informatics experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience implementing Oracle Health PowerChart in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Deep understanding of acute care and ambulatory workflows, including documentation, order entry, medication administration, and care coordination.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation standards, regulatory compliance, and patient safety protocols.
• Strong knowledge of clinical system optimization, dynamic documentation, and provider adoption strategies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, configuration, validation, and deployment of Oracle Health PowerChart and clinical modules.

• Lead HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, ADA, and MA privacy Compliance.
• Lead clinical validation testing: unit, system, integration, UAT; translate workflows to test scenarios.
• Sign off on clinical acceptance; support post-live smoke testing.

Our healthcare client in Massachusetts is looking for a Clinical Lead Project Manager for a 6 month contract-to-hire position. This role is remote hybrid, with 25% expected travel required.

Contract: 6 months+ extensions/ conversion to FTE (C2H)

Job Description:

• Oversee the design, configuration, validation, and deployment of Oracle Health PowerChart and associated clinical modules.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clinical stakeholders, Oracle Health, and EOHHS leadership, ensuring the solution meets the Commonwealth’s complex clinical, operational, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop workflows for admission, discharge, transfer (ADT), medication administration, order entry, clinical documentation, and care coordination.
• Configure dynamic documentation templates, PowerForms, iView components, and PowerPlans to support specialty-specific workflows.
• Ensure alignment with clinical authority structures, including nursing, physician, and ancillary roles.
• Design and validate workflows for emergency department, outpatient clinics, and inpatient units, including behavioral health and long-term care transitions.
• Collaborate with pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and ancillary teams to ensure integrated clinical workflows.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, ADA, and Massachusetts-specific privacy and documentation regulations.
• Lead clinical validation testing, including unit testing, system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Translate clinical workflows into test scenarios and coordinate execution with domain test managers and clinical SMEs.
• Sign off on clinical acceptance prior to go-live and support post-live smoke testing.

Required Qualifications:

• STRONG Project management skills to drive completions of DCWs and DDMs while working with the clinical team
• Minimum 10 years of experience in clinical operations or clinical informatics, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience implementing Oracle Health PowerChart in inpatient and ambulatory settings.
• Deep understanding of acute care and ambulatory workflows, including documentation, order entry, medication administration, and care coordination.
• Familiarity with clinical documentation standards, regulatory compliance, and patient safety protocols.
• Strong knowledge of clinical system optimization, dynamic documentation, and provider adoption strategies.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or equivalent clinical credential.
• Certifications in HIMSS, ANCC Informatics Nursing, or relevant clinical informatics domains.
• Experience with Oracle Health Data Intelligence (formerly HealtheIntent) for clinical analytics and reporting.
• Experience managing clinical transformation in multi-entity, multi-specialty environments.
