Position Overview

The Clinical Lead Nurse provides leadership to clinical and support staff, ensuring efficient resource coordination for procedures, daily operations, and patient flow. The role involves direct patient care, staff training, quality assurance, and participation in program development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and direct clinical staff, coordinate resources, and oversee daily operations.
  2. Perform nursing assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes to support safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care.
  3. Facilitate communication among patients, families, and hospital departments to promote team collaboration.
  4. Train and mentor staff, monitor performance, and assist with HR functions such as hiring and resolving staff concerns.
  5. Ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  6. Manage supplies, equipment, and participate in budget planning.
  7. Collaborate on program development and work with vendors on equipment and supplies.
  8. Provide age-specific patient care, demonstrating knowledge of growth, development, and patient needs.
Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the practicing state.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field; or Associate Degree with enrollment in BSN program within 2 years and completion within 5 years.
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting.
Skills and Abilities
