Job summary

QualDerm Partners is seeking a skilled Lead, Clinical to support our providers, guide medical assistants, and help ensure efficient, high-quality patient care. In this role, you will coordinate patient flow and daily medical assistant coverage, train staff, and assist during examinations while maintaining EMR documentation and infection-control standards.

Qualified candidates will have a medical assisting program and internship or 2–3 years dermatology experience, knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assisting program and internship, or 2-3 years of recent dermatology experience.
• Certified Medical Assistant credential preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, HIPAA, and OSHA standards.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with EMA ModMed is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient flow and daily medical assistant coverage.
• Serve as the first point of contact for clinical workflow, supply, and EMA ModMed questions.
• Train and support new medical assistants.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Document care accurately in the EMR.
• Prepare specimens, maintain instruments, and uphold infection-control standards.
• Monitor medical supplies, inventory, and exam-room readiness.
• Help resolve patient concerns and implement new clinical processes.
