Summary: Supervise the workflow, case assignments, and reporting for a team of interdisciplinary clinicians at The Guild School during daytime hours. Support the team in designing and developing interdisciplinary treatment plans for all students. For their own caseload this position will provide consultation services within the program for individuals 6-22 years old who are diagnosed with intellectual disabilities, including autism, along with concurrent mental health diagnoses and challenging behaviors. This position will be an integral piece of an interdisciplinary team whose primary goal is to provide effective interventions that lead to an improved quality of life, community inclusion, and functional skills development.

Primary Job Responsibilities

Workflow Supervision

  • Coordinate and ensure compliance/participation to service delivery of the IEP process and/or treatment planning process in the school setting for assigned classrooms/clinicians.
  • Create student centered schedule for clinical shifts for assigned clinicians – integrating and accommodating master school and program schedules.
  • Onboard new clinicians into the assigned program and classrooms.
  • Support the associate director in engaging teams to develop interdisciplinary treatment plans for students focused on improvement of quality of life.
  • Provide oversight, feedback, and direction to clinicians during the assigned program shift.
  • Work collaboratively with senior clinicians providing license-specific, clinical supervision to team members.

Clinical Intervention

  • Implement services designed to support an integrated model of treatment implementation – one that promotes generalization to school, work, community, and home settings.
  • Provide collaborative behavior consultation and training to the student team, using modeling as well as instruction regarding students’ needs.
  • Document clinical notes, complete progress reports, IEP information, treatment planning and re-evaluations.
  • Participate in any meetings pertaining to assigned individuals or program planning, working cooperatively with the team to address behavioral concerns.
  • Provide formal and informal training of program staff by modeling treatment plan implementation as well as conducting observations and feedback.
  • Evaluate treatment plan effectiveness through observation, data analysis, and team input; revise plans as needed.
  • Present data analysis of student behavior and provide recommendations to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engage in the de-escalation of individuals with complex needs, providing milieu-based support and modeling for staff.
  • Attend and lead training as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Essential Job Functions

  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job including weekends, holidays and inclement weather situations.
  • Demonstrated evidence of mature judgment, good interpersonal skills, a desire to enrich individuals' lives and a willingness to learn from skilled professionals.
  • Physical and mental capacity to work in stressful situations and de-escalate individuals who have limited cognition and complex needs
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is an essential function of the job.
  • Pass Guild Driving test to access Guild vehicles for transportations of individuals.
  • The ability to implement crisis intervention techniques as necessary, including Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (via certification through CPI).
  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job, including inclement weather situations.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a master’s degree in ABA, Education, Psychology, Counseling or other related field required.
  • Licensure in respective area of focus (BCBA, LMHC, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, case management software, and other electronic tools.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must undergo background record check requirements.
  • Meet expectations within discipline to provide supervision to other licensed providers.
  • Applied experience with clinical assessments, intervention selection, treatment planning, and ongoing progress monitoring.
  • Reliable transportation to primary location in Concord, MA and to other sites as needed.
