Job summary

United Health Services, Inc. in New York’s Southern Tier seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technician/Technologist to perform routine and specialized tests in a CAP and NYS accredited laboratory. You will monitor processes, verify results, and, when needed, direct daily activities of the section under established policies.

The role requires NYS certification/licensure, a related degree (ASCP certification preferred), and 1 year of lab experience. UHS offers strong benefits and career growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in clinical laboratory technology; NYS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree for technologist role; NYS licensure grandfathered for CLT candidates.
• One year of laboratory experience preferred; ASCP certification beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized tests in a CAP and NYS accredited laboratory.
• Monitor laboratory processes and verify results promptly.
• Direct daily activities of the section when supervisor is unavailable, per policies.
