Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Relocation Provided)

Join us at Labcorp as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Relocation Provided).

Location: Dell Children's Medical Center North Campus, Austin, TX

Job Type: Part-time, Entry level

Schedule: Shift 3, 2-week rotation, 3 x 12-hour shifts (Wednesday to Friday one week, Thursday to Saturday the next)

Responsibilities:

• Determine specimen acceptability
• Perform routine and complex procedures
• Monitor and troubleshoot instrumentation
• Make technical decisions and evaluate reagents
• Report test results accurately
• Maintain quality control and preventive maintenance
• Assist with specimen processing and maintain safety standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of clinical lab testing experience or MLS degree
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred
• Proficient with computers and lab information systems
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• Ability to pass color vision screening
• Flexible to work overtime/shifts as needed
