Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs assays of biological specimens according to established policies and procedures, utilizing specific instruments, equipment, reagents and techniques.
• Reviews and reports results. Maintains documentation of actions taken; alerts supervisor to problems and/or unusual or critical results.
• Maintains equipment in operating condition with routine preventive maintenance and proper documentation.
• Performs quality control procedures and SOPs; maintains cleanliness and follows safety protocols.
• Handles proficiency test samples per procedure and reports results.
• Identifies and reports problems affecting test performance or results to management.
• Documents corrective actions when test systems deviate from performance specifications.
• Troubleshoots equipment to correct malfunctions.
