Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, Inc. (MSPB) is seeking a skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist to perform routine and complex testing across chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis. You will operate analyzers, ensure accuracy, and report results promptly while maintaining QC/QA standards.

Active Florida MLS license is required with 2–5 years’ clinical lab experience. Certification (ASCP/AMT) preferred; LIS and automation experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• ASCP/AMT or equivalent certification required.
• Active Florida Medical Laboratory Technologist license required.
• 2–5 years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Experience with LIS and automated instrumentation preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with collaborative approach to patient care.
• Knowledge of data privacy standards and healthcare regulations.
• Flexibility to accommodate workflow demands and occasional extended hours.

Responsabilités

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing across chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and analyzers.
• Adhere to QC/QA protocols; identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Enter, verify, and release results within LIS.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, and state requirements.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to clarify orders and communicate critical values.
• Ensure proper specimen handling and integrity; support efficient lab workflow.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new team members; participate in validation studies.

In this role, you will perform both routine and complex laboratory testing while ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and reliable results to our providers.
