SPGC Specialty Physicians of Garrett County, LLC is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technician to perform and analyze tests across laboratory disciplines within licensure scope, following SOPs and QC.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, instrument maintenance, result review, reporting to nurses and physicians, and ensuring safety/compliance in a hospital setting. Schedule is 20 hours weekly, on-site in Cumberland, MD, with WVUHS as an equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Must have an AS or AAS in Medical Laboratory Technology or related associate degree.
• Current licensure as required by state where services are provided.
• Experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Process and analyze samples accurately and efficiently per SOPs.
• Set up, run, and maintain laboratory instruments as per policy.
• Perform quality control and infection control procedures across technical areas.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures on patients as needed.
• Document results and report findings to nurses/physicians.
• Interact with healthcare workers to interpret patient lab results.
