Job description

Arcetyp LLC is a growing small business providing consulting services to the US Federal Government, US Military, and Commercial clients. We are recruiting to fill a position to lead business development activities for a small government contracting firm focused on IT Services and Cyber Security for clients in Civil and DoD markets.

We accept only direct hire candidates, W2 employees. No 1099 independent consultants, staffing firms, or corp-to-corp (C2C) candidates. We cannot sponsor H1B visas.

The role involves supporting the Naval Logistics Command with medical services for active-duty military personnel, their dependents, DoD civilian employees, and other beneficiaries. The position is on-site at Yokosuka, Japan.

Relocation expenses: Up to $35,000 reimbursed upon meeting government and work requirements, with costs submitted and reimbursed quarterly, pre-approved by the government.

Position Duties:
  1. Perform clinical laboratory tests across various areas including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, and blood bank.
  2. Calculate test results and measure sample quantities during tests.
  3. Examine specimens microscopically for pertinent details.
  4. Conduct laboratory tests manually or with automated equipment.
  5. Evaluate information against criteria during tests.
  6. Ensure precise and accurate testing following established procedures.
  7. Receive and process requisitions from healthcare providers.
  8. Set up and calibrate laboratory equipment.
  9. Obtain specimens via venipuncture.
  10. Add reagents and process specimens accordingly.
  11. Prepare slides for microscopic analysis as needed.
  12. Observe test reactions and analyze results using automatic analyzers.
  13. Record and file test results and reports.
  14. Prepare specimens for transport or mail-out.
  15. Manage biological waste disposal properly.
  16. Participate in Quality Control and CAP programs.
  17. Comply with standards of The Joint Commission and other regulatory bodies.
  18. Provide training/support to government employees and support staff.
  19. Operate systems like CHCS, AHLTA, and others, and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
  20. Maintain HIPAA compliance and obtain/maintain NPI provider identifier.
  21. Maintain documentation and reports per directives.
  22. Practice aseptic techniques and infection control measures.
Position Requirements:
  1. Awareness of safety procedures and legal issues in patient care.
  2. Respect for patient rights and team coordination skills.
  3. Compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician by ASCP or AMT.
  2. No sanctions or suspensions by the Federal Government.
  3. Current BLS certification from AHA.
  4. Fluent in English with good communication skills.
  5. Ability to pass background checks.
  6. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
