Job summary

Arcetyp LLC seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technician to support government and military clients in Japan. This on-site role involves performing a wide range of laboratory tests, preparing specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with HIPAA and facility standards.

Required are MLT certification (ASCP or AMT) or near-equivalent, English fluency, and strong adherence to safety and QA/QC practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in safety procedures and infection control.
• Ability to navigate and apply health-care regulations and privacy laws.
• Excellent written and spoken English with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical lab tests across hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology, microbiology, and blood bank as needed.
• Calculate and record test results with accuracy.
• Prepare specimens, run analyses, and interpret initial results.
• Operate automated instruments and maintain equipment per SOPs.
• Document QA/QC procedures and participate in PI/RM activities.
• Adhere to HIPAA and regulatory requirements; maintain patient confidentiality.
