Job summary

UNC Health Blue Ridge is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Specialist to provide technical direction to technologists and to perform technical, administrative, and managerial tasks under the supervision of the lab director. The role includes supporting change in the laboratory and assisting with staff development and compliance.

THE POSITION

In this role, as the Clinical Laboratory Specialist, you will provide technical direction to the technologist and perform technical, administrative, and managerial functions under the lab director's supervision. Support and lead change in the laboratory; assist with the selection, development, and retention of human resources, clinical supervision, performance appraisal, and compliance.
