Northwestern Memorial Hospital is hiring a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform a full spectrum of lab testing in a fast-paced clinical environment. You’ll handle pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic duties, ensuring accurate results and timely communication to physicians.

The role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus and an hourly salary range of $34.00–$52.70, with union-related pay guidance as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or eligible to sit for ASCP/other cert exams.

Responsibilities

• Performs all aspects of pre-analytic workflow to ensure correct orders and specimen handling.
• Performs analytical testing following SOPs and maintains QC and instrument care.
• Verifies results and reports them accurately and timely to assist patient care.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Chemistry, Biology, or Allied Health
