Job summary

Indian Health Service is hiring a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to perform routine and specialized tests across chemistry, microbiology, hematology, molecular diagnostics, immunology, and immunohematology. You will interpret results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accuracy of patient data.

You will collect and prepare specimens, maintain and calibrate instruments, and participate in quality assurance activities to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or medical technology.
• Successful completion of NAACLS-accredited MLS/CLS program.
• Experience with quality control, proficiency testing and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory testing across chemistry, microbiology, hematology, molecular diagnostics, immunology, and immunohematology.
• Interpret results, troubleshoot discrepancies, and verify accuracy of laboratory findings.
• Collect and prepare patient specimens with proper handling and documentation.
• Maintain equipment, perform quality control, calibration, and procedural updates.
