• Licensure: National certification compliant with federal/state regulations; ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes and processes specimens for testing.
• Performs requested laboratory tests and reports results.
• Conducts quality control, proficiency testing, and routine equipment maintenance.
• Ensures proper patient identification to prevent errors.
• Analyzes data, draws conclusions, and supports ongoing learning.
• Completes assigned goals and may instruct personnel or students.
