Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs and reports waived, moderately complex, and highly complex test procedures on patient specimens adhering to SOPs.
• Provides clinical correlation of results, rapid notification of critical values, and ensure testing within turn‑around times.
• Maintains and calibrates major automated equipment; contacts vendors for repairs when needed.
• Performs calibration and quality control procedures and keeps records of testing parameters.
• Performs proficiency testing and reviews results with laboratory clinical leaders.
• Assists in evaluating and documenting new procedures and equipment for current physician use.
