Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of patient specimens.
• Operate biomedical instrumentation with calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Perform quality control procedures and report results.
• Review and verify test results before entry into the information system.
• Maintain inventory of supplies to ensure continuous service.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy and clinical significance.
• Contribute to continuing education and stay current with methods.
• Provide supervision in absence of Department Head and train new staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
