The individual performs waived, moderate, or highly complex tests authorized by CLIA, adhering to laboratory procedures for collection, processing, analysis, and reporting. Responsibilities include following quality control policies, identifying and correcting problems, performing manual and automated laboratory procedures across various disciplines, maintaining instruments, reviewing patient results, recognizing age-specific differences, testing proficiency samples, possibly performing venipuncture, developing lab policies, and adhering to safety and HR policies. In the absence of a supervisor, may serve as Lead Tech or handle responsibilities related to LIS and POCT. Additional tasks may be assigned by the department manager or director.
Education, Experience, and Training
The role offers a starting compensation of $59.85 per hour. Benefits vary based on collective bargaining and employment status. The final offer will consider skills, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
