The American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science seeks a Laboratory Technician to develop, perform, and evaluate laboratory procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements. Ideal candidates should hold a bachelor's degree and possess relevant certifications while being proficient in English.
Develops, performs, evaluates, interprets, correlates, and validates the accuracy of laboratory procedures and results in line with current laboratory regulatory requirements. Work may be in various specialties such as chemistry, microbiology, immunology, hematology, and immunohematology.
Basic Requirements:
Grade Determinations:
Preferred Experience: 2+ years in general laboratory work including Blood Bank, Hematology, Chemistry, and Micro/Molecular, especially for night shift positions. Recent graduates with relevant degrees and certification eligibility within 2 years are also preferred.
Physical Requirements: Moderate lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, finger use, walking/standing, bending, vision, color discrimination, and hearing.
Work Schedule: Friday through Monday, 10:00 pm to 8:00 am, rotating holidays.
